Platåskolan

Platåskolan is a modern, four-story school building with an area of approximately 11,000 square meters, made of prefabricated reinforced concrete and steel structures. The building consists of reinforced concrete walls (three- and single-layer), prestressed hollow core slabs,  reinforced concrete slabs, reinforced concrete stairs, as well as internal, multi-span steel frames. The building is characterized by a varied facade. The facade layer of the walls is finished with bricks, horizontal grooves or a smooth surface. Environmental friendly solutions have been applied in the building, including solar panels on the roof, furniture recycling and facilities for bicycles.
