Stena Fastigheter has high ambitions with the new Ekebäckshöjd neighborhood in the Högsbo district in southwest Gothenburg. The idea is to inspire creative and social living, where a number of common meeting places will contribute to a cozy farm community.
A roof park is built on top of the houses and in the laundry lounge the washing machines are supplemented with a workshop corner, places for work and study and spaces where neighbors and friends can hang out.
Some of the total of 600 homes will also become so-called co-living, where everyone has their own room and bathroom but also access to common areas.
